Through www.travelgobimongolia.com, we welcome and organize trips for independent travelers (FITs).
We also run Ulaanbaatar Tours, a project that offers one-day join-in tours around Ulaanbaatar and its surroundings.
In addition, we manage Smoke & Steppe, a tourist lunch restaurant located in Övörkhangai province.
About the name
The name Badarchin comes from a Mongolian word meaning ‘traveler monk.’ Historically, Mongolian monks embarked on long pilgrimages, walking all the way to Lhasa, Tibet, in pursuit of wisdom and enlightenment. Inspired by this spirit of discovery and resilience, Badarchin Ayalaajaviin Tovchoo carries forward the tradition of meaningful journeys, offering today’s travelers unforgettable experiences filled with culture, adventure, and inspiration.

- 2010 – Launched first outbound tour to Thailand with Ochir Undraa Group.
- 2011 – Organized the company’s first tour to Beijing, China.
- 2012 – Organized the company’s first tour to Hainan Island, China.
- 2013 – Organized the company’s first large-group tour to Thailand with 55 travelers, arranged for the client company Mongol Tabaco Co.
- 2013 – Organized the company’s first tour to Hong Kong, China, for travelers from Etugen Mining Company.
- 2014 – Organized the company’s first tour to Phuket, Thailand, for the team from Practical Insurance Company.
- 2015 – Organized the company’s first tour to Vietnam and Cambodia—a 12-day journey for around 45 travelers, contracted by Mongol Tabaco Co.
- 2017 – Organized the company’s first tour to Bali, Indonesia, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—a 14-day journey for contracted sales representatives of Mongol Tabaco Co.
- 2019 – Organized the company’s first tour to Cebu Island, Philippines, a custom trip for Mongol Tabaco Co.
- 2020 – Organized the company’s first tour to Da Nang, Vietnam. Under the initiative of tour leader Dave, the trip followed the Hanoi–Da Nang–Nha Trang route, flying via Hong Kong for the first time.
- 2021 – Joined the team organizing charter flights to Bangkok, Thailand. After the COVID-19 pandemic, as tourism began to recover, our company collaborated with partner companies to operate four charter flights to Bangkok. While working as one team, our company provided full on-ground services in Thailand, serving a group of 120 travelers and setting a record for excellence.
- 2022 – Organized the company’s first tour to Turkey
- 2025 – Participated in the Zhangjiajie charter flight project. Our team took part in a summer charter flight project for the first time, managing 40 seats per flight.
- 2025 – Worked on block seating for scheduled flights to Shanghai. Following MIAT’s first scheduled flight to Shanghai, our company managed block seating on selected flights and organized nine consecutive tours to Shanghai and Hangzhou.
- 2026 – In connection with MIAT’s new direct flights to Singapore, our company organized block-seating tours covering Singapore and Malaysia.
Annual Business Operations 2024-2025
Between 2024 and 2025, our team managed over 2,000 block seats with MIAT, organizing both program-based and independent tours to Thailand and Vietnam. In the summer of 2025, successfully organized 480-seat charter flights to Zhangjiajie with Hunnu Air. Operating regular weekly program-based train tours on the Hohhot–Jining–Beijing route in China.
